FIND YOUR SIZE

Measure Before You Order

Choosing the correct size is the most important step to getting the comfort, support, and stability your NEENCA brace is designed to provide.

A brace that is too loose may slide or shift during movement. A brace that is too tight may pinch, feel uncomfortable, or be difficult to wear for longer periods.

Please measure before ordering. Do not choose your size based only on your height, weight, or usual clothing size.

How to Measure Your Knee Brace Size

Use a soft, flexible measuring tape. For the most accurate result, measure directly on your skin or over thin clothing.

  1. Stand in a relaxed position with your leg straight, but not locked.
  2. Find the center of your kneecap.
  3. Measure around your thigh approximately 5.5 inches / 14 cm above the center of your kneecap.
  4. Keep the tape flat against your leg. Do not pull it too tight.
  5. Write down your measurement and match it to the size chart before ordering.

Important: Your thigh measurement is the main sizing reference. Your regular pants size, body weight, or height may not match the correct brace size.

How Your Brace Should Feel

Your NEENCA brace should feel secure, supportive, and comfortably snug. It should stay in place during normal movement without sliding down or rolling.

  • Secure around the leg
  • Supportive during walking, work, exercise, or daily activities
  • Snug without causing pain
  • Comfortable enough for your intended use

If You Are Between Sizes

If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose based on the fit you prefer.

Choose the smaller size if you prefer:

  • Firmer compression
  • A more secure fit
  • Support during sports or higher activity levels

Choose the larger size if you prefer:

  • A more relaxed fit
  • All-day comfort
  • Easier application and removal

Signs the Size May Not Be Right

You may need a different size if you notice:

  • The brace slides down during activity
  • The brace rolls, bunches, or shifts
  • Pinching behind the knee
  • Persistent numbness or tingling
  • Deep pressure marks that do not fade shortly after removal

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I choose my normal clothing size?

No. Knee brace sizing should be based on your thigh circumference, not your normal pants size or clothing size.

Should I measure while standing or sitting?

Standing is usually best. Keep your leg relaxed and straight, but do not lock your knee or tighten your thigh muscles while measuring.

How tight should the measuring tape be?

The tape should lie flat around your thigh without digging into your skin. Do not pull it tight. If the tape leaves a mark, you are pulling too firmly.

What if I am between two sizes?

Choose the smaller size for firmer compression and a more secure fit. Choose the larger size for a more relaxed fit and easier all-day wear.

Can I size down for stronger compression?

If you are between two sizes, sizing down may be appropriate if you prefer a firmer feel. Do not choose a size far below your measurement, as this may cause discomfort.

What should I do if the brace slides down?

If the brace slides down during movement, it may be too large, not positioned correctly, or not adjusted properly. Recheck your measurement and compare it with the size chart.

What should I do if the brace feels too tight?

A compression brace should feel snug and supportive, but it should not cause pain, persistent numbness, tingling, or restricted circulation. If it feels too tight, remove it and consider a larger size.

Can I wear the brace all day?

Many customers wear NEENCA braces during daily activities, work, walking, training, or sports. Wear time depends on your comfort level and activity. If you feel discomfort, remove the brace and take a break.
